With support from Bechtel Saudi Arabia, EFE-Saudi Arabia delivered a three-day Future Skills Development Program in Al Khobar for 35 university students and recent graduates, with women representing more than 60% of participants.

The interactive training focused on three areas: AI and career planning, workplace soft skills, and continuous professional learning. Participants learned how to use AI tools for career planning, CV development, job searches, online portfolios, and building a professional digital identity. Training also covered communication, interview preparation, critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, adaptability, leadership, and emotional intelligence.

Participants were also introduced to the IBM SkillsBuild platform, where they developed personalized learning plans and explored opportunities to earn digital badges through Credly. All participants received certificates of participation upon completing the program.

Designed for students approaching graduation, the program focuses on strengthening their readiness to enter the labor market rather than immediate job placement. Following the training, a government entity also expressed interest in supporting participants and exploring potential employment opportunities once they graduate.
